class="wp-block-paragraph">Real Madrid are of course fresh off building on what has been a thoroughly productive opening to the summer transfer window, courtesy of a deal for Chelsea star Marc Cucurella.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Incoming Blancos boss José Mourinho will now have two big-money left-backs at his disposal in Spain’s capital, namely Cucurella, and Álvaro Carreras.

class="wp-block-paragraph">And as alluded to above, owing to as much, a further pair of defenders find themselves on the exit ramp at the Santiago Bernabéu.
