2028 in-state DL to attend Florida State's Elite Camp next weekend

The Florida State Seminoles will be holding a special event next weekend. It will be their Elite Camp on June 21, and per Chris Nee of Noles247, 2028 defensive lineman Chase Foster will be competing in it.

>He's been to Tallahassee several times already. Foster's first trip to visit FSU came in July of 2024 for their Seminole Showcase. Since receiving an offer from the Seminoles last May, he's been back on campus twice. One was for Florida State's victory against the Alabama Crimson Tide last year, and he returned in April for an unofficial visit.

>Over 20 programs have extended scholarships to Foster. The Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Tennessee Volunteers, and Texas A&M Aggies are amongst his more notable offers.

>Prior to transferring to IMG Academy, Foster played at Dutchtown High School in Hampton, Georgia. He produced 22 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one fumble recovery as a sophomore. Foster would earn First-Team All-Region honors for his play.

>The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder is a four-star prospect that is listed as the No. 267 recruit and the No. 29 defensive lineman according to 247Sports composite rankings. In the state of Florida, he's ranked as the No. 35 player.
