4 RBs the Dolphins could sign to help replace De'Von Achane

The Miami Dolphins lost more than just their Week 3 matchup to the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, they also lost running back De'Von Achane for the season to a torn ACL just five offensive plays into the game.

>Right now, the Dolphins have just two running backs on their 53-man roster (Ollie Gordon II and Jaylen Wright) and two more on their practice squad (Jarquez Hunter and Carlos Washington Jr.). With that, they may want to add another back to the room.

Kareem HuntHunt, 31, was a third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft after a collegiate career at Toledo, where he earned All-MAC honors three times. In his NFL career, he's spent four years with the Kansas City Chiefs and five with the Cleveland Browns, rushing for 5,775 yards and 55 touchdowns on 4.1 yards per attempt and catching 267 passes for 2,509 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Antonio GibsonGibson, 28, played at East Central Community College and Memphis, earning All-AAC honors twice in the same season. After going in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, he spent four years with the Washington Commanders and two with the New England Patriots, rushing for 3,287 yards and 24 touchdowns on 4.2 yards per attempt while catching 197 passes for an additional 1,495 yards and seven scores.

Miles SandersSanders, 29, played at Penn State from 2016-18, earning All-Big Ten honors once. The Philadelphia Eagles took him in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In four years in Philadelphia, two with the Carolina Panthers and one with the Dallas Cowboys, he rushed for 4,462 yards and 24 touchdowns on 4.7 yards per attempt. He also hauled in 183 passes for 1,274 yards and four touchdowns.

Michael CarterCarter, 27, played at North Carolina from 2017-20, earning All-ACC honors twice and All-American honors once. The New York Jets took him in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft. In three years with the Jets and three with the Arizona Cardinals, he rushed for 1,692 yards and nine touchdowns on 4.0 yards per attempt while adding another 1,038 yards and one score on 145 receptions. He's currently on Tennessee's practice squad.
