>While more matches were expected to be added to Redemption, Dynamite was headlined by a star-studded trios match featuring Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley.

Kevin Knight defended the TNT Championship against Darby Allin, while Divine Dominion put the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championships on the line against Julia Hart and Skye Blue in a No Disqualification Match. AEW Dynamite Results For July 22, 2026Backstage, Will Ospreay says he, Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley make a dream team heading into tonight's main event. Ospreay tells Omega not to play the hero and to tag him in if needed, with Omega returning the sentiment. Jon Moxley then walks in and says there isn't any tension between them. • >TNT Championship Match: Kevin Knight (c) def. Darby Allin by pinfall to retain the title. • >The Don Callis Family comes to the ring. Mark Davis says Andrade El Idolo has no chance against him at Redemption. Kevin Knight boasts that he broke Kyle Fletcher's record for most TNT Championship defenses and did it without the Don Callis Family's help. Fletcher responds by saying he hopes Knight wins the AEW World Championship at Redemption because he doesn't need the family's help either. He then says he'll talk to Tony Khan about banning everyone from ringside for his title defense against Bandido on Sunday before announcing that everyone is banned from ringside for his match happening next. • >Brody King and Bandido def. Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada by pinfall. After the match, Fletcher berates Okada at ringside. • >A vignette airs promoting Chris Jericho's return as the Painmaker against Tommaso Ciampa at Redemption. • >Mick Foley welcomes out Thekla and Willow Nightingale for an interview on the stage. Nightingale says it’s nice to stand face to face with Thekla instead of getting attacked from behind and calls Sunday's title match the only thing standing between her and the AEW Women's World Championship. Thekla says she isn't buying Nightingale's smile, claiming she's poisoned on the inside and promising to beat the poison out of her.

Nightingale responds that she’s never tried to convince anyone who she is and believes Thekla's toxic persona is nothing more than a facade. She says Thekla is simply a shortcut to becoming AEW Women's World Champion.

Foley says he sees similarities between himself and Nightingale, prompting Thekla to tell him to shut up. Nightingale vows to give everything she has to win on Sunday, while Thekla tells her to keep smiling after she loses.

Thekla then strikes Nightingale with the microphone and attempts to hit her with the championship belt, but Nightingale knocks her away. • >A video package promotes Hikaru Shida defending the TBS Championship against Maya World at Redemption. • >Jay White def. Clark Connors by submission. After the match, David Finlay attacks White before the rest of the Bang Bang Gang runs down to make the save. • >Backstage, PAC and Claudio Castagnoli attack Adam Copeland and Christian Cage as they're beginning to cut a promo. • >No Disqualification Match for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship: Megan Bayne and Lena Kross (c) def. Julia Hart and Skye Blue by pinfall to retain the titles. • >Backstage, Juice Robinson questions where David Finlay and Clark Connors are running off to before challenging them to a Double Chain Tag Team Match at Redemption. Jay White promises they will give Finlay and Connors a beating on Sunday. • >Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley def. Hechicero, Brian Cage and Jake Doyle by pinfall. After the match, Omega and Moxley have a heated confrontation in the ring. The Young Bucks then run out and brawl with Moxley and Ospreay, while Omega fights off RPG Vice.
