>The world's best women's golfers will descend on Royal Lytham & St Annes this week for the final women's major of 2026.

>There are 144 players in the field, including world No 2 Jeeno Thitikul and world No 3 Haeran Ryu, who is out to win her third major of the season, after she claimed victory at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in June and the Evian Championship in July.

>A list of exemption pathways to qualify and players confirmed in the field can be found on the AIG Women's Open website.

>Play is set to commence at 6.30am Thursday and Friday, with tee times for the opening round available here.

>Weekend tee times will vary depending on how many players make the cut. Third-round tee times are scheduled to be released on Friday night.
