American cricket player suspended 8 years under Anti-Corruption Code

American cricket player Bodugum Akhilesh Reddy, 26, has been handed an eight-year ban from all cricket after being found guilty of breaching three counts of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Anti-Corruption Code.

>Reddy was provisionally banned on Nov. 21, 2025, and his eight-year ban is backdated to then. The provisional ban was for alleged involvement in corruption regarding the Abu Dhabi T10 event, which took place in the United Arab Emirates. Reddy played for the Aspin Stallions during the event.

>The ICC was originally appointed as the Designated Anti-Corruption Official (DACO) for the event and sought the investigation into Reddy after his suspension. Here are the details.
