Atlanta Braves clinch NL East division

>The Braves clinched the division following their win over the Houston Astros on Sunday. It also marks the 24th division title in franchise history, tying the MLB record.

>Atlanta isn’t out of the running for a first-round bye, but time is winding down to catch up to Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers. If they don’t get a first-round bye, the Braves would be the No. 3 seed and host a Wild Card series at Truist Park starting Sept. 29.

>Atlanta wraps up its regular-season schedule with a home series against Cincinnati Reds starting Tuesday and a road series with Miami Marlins.
