AUBURN — There's at least a few nicks and bruises that Auburn football will be mending as its kicks off its preseason camp this week.
>Alex Golesh went down the injury updates list Tuesday, Aug. 4, the day before the Tigers begin their practices, but there was one notable addition. Reserve offensive lineman Tai Buster won't be available until "halfway through the year" due to an offseason injury.
>"He'll be out, I would assume, the first five or six games, and hopefully (we) have him towards the back stretch," Golesh said. "But it's unfortunate for him because he's had an incredible summer, and he is working his tail off to get back."
>Buster was among Auburn's contingent of underclassmen on the offensive line, including Wilson Zierer and Parker Pritchett, who made an outsized impact in the spring.
>Beyond Buster, Auburn has four other scholarship players who are coming off injuries as the program enters its preseason.
>Both freshman defensive lineman Corey Wells and fifth-year CK Murray aren't expected to be available until midway through camp, and defensive backs An'Quon Fegans and Shamar Arnoux are both viewed as "day to day" while in a rehab protocol.
