Mandatory minicamp will take place for the Jacksonville Jaguars from June 9-11. This is often the last big milestone in the NFL offseason calendar before training camp arrives in late July.
>Through the first two weeks of OTA practices, we've gained some valuable insights into where things stand on the depth chart, along with who may be standing out early on, but questions at each position group remain, and that's normal at this time of the year. It won't be until training camp and the preseason take place that playing time and final roster decisions are made.
>So as part of our Jaguars' minicamp preview, let's highlight the one big question facing each position group. Up next is the defensive end position.
How does the rotation behind Hines-Allen and Walker shake out?We know that Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker will lead the way at this position, but defensive end is a heavily rotated position in the NFL, with four or five players seeing regular playing time.
>So what the depth chart behind Hines-Allen and Walker looks like remains to be seen.
>Returning for the Jaguars are Danny Striggow and BJ Green, two 2025 UDFAs who made the 53-man roster. Both filled primarily special teams roles as rookies.
>The Jaguars also added Wesley Williams in the fourth round of this year's draft. The team loves his play style and believes he brings a well-rounded skill set to the defense. Zach Durfee was a late Day 3 pick this year as well.
>We will probably continue to see Dennis Gardeck taking some snaps at defensive end, as he did last year.
>Hines-Allen and Walker provide a very strong one-two punch, but the Jaguars need more consistent pressure from their defensive end depth this season.
> Last season, the Jaguars' defense ranked a modest 18th in pressure rate in 2025 and 27th in sacks.
