>The half-court, 3-on-3 league is fresh off an announcement of a merger with Graf Global Corporation and $290 million pre-money valuation ahead of becoming the first traditional professional U.S.-based sports league to go public.
>As customary, the BIG3’s eight teams’ rosters are adorned with a host of accomplished names including the LA Riot’s Dwight Howard, the Dallas Power’s Greg Monroe and Miami 305’s Lance Stephenson.
>Ahead of this season’s inaugural set of games, we focus on a trio of PrizePicks props for some of the BIG3’s most recognizable stars:
Greg Monroe, Dallas Power (vs. Detroit Amps), Sunday, July 5, 1:00 p.m. ETBet: More Than 14.5 PointsThe Power is 2-0 with a BIG3-best +25 point differential, and Monroe, an accomplished NBA veteran, has had a big role to play in the success. The accomplished big man has averaged 16.0 points over his first two games, shooting a stellar 69.6% in the process.
>Monroe is a key offensive component on the Power, as he and newcomer Elijah Stewart have taken the scoring reins while Glen Rice Jr. has transitioned into much more of a rebounder and facilitator over the first two games. Monroe is averaging a robust 11.5 field-goal attempts as well, and his matchup Sunday lends credence to the notion he could continue getting plenty of scoring opportunities down low.
>The opposing Amps are 0-2 and are tied with the Rig Hands for the league high in points allowed (102) through the first two weeks. Detroit is without Joe Johnson (knee) this season, and while newcomer Henry Sims should help the team’s low-post defense in time, the big man was just signed this week and may take time to get up to full speed.
Lance Stephenson, Miami 305 (vs. Chicago Triplets), Sunday, July 5, 3:30 p.m. ETBet: More Than 19.5 PointsStephenson served a one-game suspension in Week 2 after a very chippy Week 1 game against the Riot, and this week, it’s Michael Beasley’s turn to fulfill his ban. As it did for Beasley in Week 2, when the star forward went off for 22 points, the absence of a fellow star should boost Stephenson’s scoring opportunities.
>Stephenson led the way with 14 points in Week 1, despite that game being called early due to Miami running short on available players. Last season, the mercurial veteran averaged 15.0 points despite shooting just 42.3%, averaging 13.0 field-goal attempts per game.
>While this is a high scoring bar to clear, Stephenson should be very busy while performing in front of the home crowd. Additionally, it’s worth noting the 2010 second-round pick of the Indiana Pacers is facing a Triplets squad that’s undefeated but has still given up 96 points through two games, the third-most points in the league.
Earl Clark, DMV Trilogy (vs. Houston Rig Hands), Sunday, July 5, 4:30 p.m. ETBet: More Than 17.5 PointsClark is an accomplished BIG3 veteran who was once the 14th overall pick in the NBA Draft and has also played for multiple international leagues. A BIG3 mainstay since 2021, Clark’s been a part of two league titles, and he’s currently one of the most reliable scorers on a talented Trilogy squad.
>Clark has opened the 2026 season averaging a team-high 17.0 points, and he’s done so while averaging an abysmal 30.8% on his whopping 19.5 field-goal attempts per contest. The Louisville product also averaged 18.8 points last season, and even though BIG3 rookie James Johnson has taken on a relatively sizable offensive role early this season, Clark is still arguably the focal point of DMV’s attack.
>The opposing Rig Hands make for quite an enticing matchup. Houston, which went 1-7 last season, is 0-2 and has allowed a co-BIG3-high 102 points through the first two games. Clark hung 19 points on Houston in last season’s Week 1 regular-season clash, and he could well be set for a similarly successful performance Sunday.
