Brandon Jones returns to Joe Gibbs Racing for 2027 O'Reilly season

Brandon Jones will return to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2027. Earlier in the month, Joe Gibbs Racing announced that Jones will drive the No. 20 car full-time for the organization during the 2027 NASCAR O'Reilly Series season. It has been a tough 2026 season for Jones, who was expected to be one of the championships favorites.

>Jones currently sits 11th in the standings with a 114-point deficit to Sheldon Creed for the championship lead. More likely than not, Jones will not be in contention for the 2026 O'Reilly Series championship. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has one win, six top-5 finishes, and 15 top-10 finishes.

>The driver of the No. 20 car hasn't shown elite speed but it won't change his plans for the 2027 NASCAR season. Jones will be joined by Taylor Gray, Brent Crews, and William Sawalich for another campaign. To close out 2026, Jones hopes that he can end the season on a high note.
