Brooks, Cheeks, Jung will represent Wisconsin during Big Ten media days

MADISON – The Wisconsin football team set its lineup for Big Ten football media days.
>The Badgers will be represented by three fifth-year players at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Chicago on July 28: receiver Chris Brooks Jr., outside linebacker Sebastian Cheeks and safety Matt Jung.
>Badgers coach Luke Fickell also will be on hand for the unofficial kickoff to the 2026 college football season.
>Wisconsin will be featured on the first day of the three-day event that will be broadcast on Big Ten Network.

>Each day six programs will be featured. Here is the schedule (the order of appearance hasn't been announced).
>Tuesday July 28: Illinois, Iowa, Penn State, Rutgers, USC, Wisconsin.
>Wednesday July 29: Michigan State, Minnesota, Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue, UCLA.
>Thursday July 30: Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, Washington.
>Here is a quick look at the players who will represent UW.
>Brooks: He made 10 starts and played in all 12 games last season. He caught 11 passes for 124 yards, both career highs. His 370 snaps are the third-most of any UW offensive player.
>Cheeks: A former inside linebacker, Cheeks posted career highs for tackles (25), tackles for loss (5½) and sacks (three) in 2025 in his second season as an outside linebacker.
>Jung: The Neenah native’s 628 snaps last season are the most of any returning defensive player. He finished with 50 tackles, the third-most among returning players behind linebackers Mason Posa and Cooper Catalano.
