BEREA, OHIO - JUNE 10: Jared Verse #8 of the Cleveland Browns hits KC Concepcion #1 during the Cleveland Browns Mandatory Minicamp at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus on June 10, 2026 in Berea, Ohio. While HC Todd Monken does not have the players tackling, more wrap and release, the pads help get the offensive and defensive lines more real-life-style reps.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Due to some injury concerns, the Browns added DT Travis Bell on Monday, waiving UDFA RB TJ Harden in the process. Injuries are always a big part of training camp, as Cleveland’s Week 3 opponent has learned the hard way already, and adding the pads could increase that concern.

class="wp-block-paragraph">On Monday, as we were tracking highlights in DBN’s Feed, Browns first-round pick, WR KC Concepcion, seemed to injure his shoulder:

— Daryl Ruiter (@RuiterWrongFAN) August 3, 2026The fact that the team’s second first-round pick is not headed into the facility to get checked out is a good sign, but not definitive:

Good news for now is Concepcion doesn’t seem overly concerned. He’s spending time in the friends and family area. https://t.co/1kJzGTOAhX

— Dan Labbe (@dan_labbe) August 3, 2026As has been true for most of the offseason, Concepcion and fellow rookie WR Denzel Boston have looked very good in camp:

Concepcion and Boston are already miles – galaxies – better than any of the other wide receivers.

— Zac Jackson (@AkronJackson) August 3, 2026Cleveland coaches and players are not scheduled to speak until Tuesday before practice; that is the latest we can expect an update on Concepcion’s shoulders. We will update this article if we get any information prior to that.
