>The Boston Celtics are looking to make a bigger impact at the rim next season, and front-court upgrades are on their mind.

>Obviously, the Celtics reportedly trying to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo speaks to their desire to improve the frontcourt, but he is not the only option available. Following the Game 7 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, Brad Stevens made a point to note his desire to add to the team in order to make more of an impact on the rim, and it's unlikely they won't pursue other options if they lose the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes.

>During a livestream on Bleacher Report, NBA insider Jake Fischer reported that the Celtics have looked into a reunion with Robert Williams III, who they drafted in the first round of the NBA Draft in 2018.

>"The Celtics, we've been told repeatedly, are looking at further upgrades in the front court," Fischer said on Monday. "As great as a development success as Neemias Queta was this year, Boston has looked at various center upgrades. They have looked at a reunion with Robert Williams III."

>Williams spent five seasons with the Celtics before signing with the Portland Trail Blazers. He came off the bench for most of the season, but played his best basketball in the NBA Playoffs. He averaged over nine points and seven rebounds in the series against the San Antonio Spurs. If the Celtics cannot land Antetokounmpo, a reunion with Williams would make plenty of sense.
