Chesterfield sign Wolves defender Pond

Chesterfield have signed Wolves defender Alfie Pond on a two-year deal.

>The 22-year-old started his career with Exeter City before joining the Championship side in September 2022.

>He made five senior appearances for Wolves and also featured in the EFL Trophy and National League Cup for their under-21 side.

>Pond scored two goals in 19 League Two appearances during a loan spell with Crewe Alexandra in the second half of last season.
