Chiefs legend influenced the 50-year legacy of ‘Inside the NFL’

NFL Films is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Inside the NFL as the program continues its second season on X as an X Original. The Kansas City Chiefs franchise played a significant role in the program’s history through the tenure of a legendary quarterback.

>From 1977 to 2001, Chiefs legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Dawson hosted Inside the NFL. In 2012, the Pro Football Hall of Fame honored him with the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award for his contributions as a sports broadcaster.
