Cody Bellinger injury update: How long will Yankees All-Star be out on hamstring?

The New York Yankees have been trying to keep pace with the American League-leading (AL) Tampa Bay Rays. For the most part, they've stuck around in striking distance and currently sit just a few games behind the Rays in the AL East standings. And just as the Yankees may have been ready to really start building momentum, they're now going to be without one of their more important difference-makers for some time.

>An All-Star this season, Cody Bellinger injured his left hamstring during a 3-1 Yankees win over the Philadelphia Phillies on the road. On Sunday, the Yankees announced Bellinger would be placed on the 10-day injured list as he deals with his discomfort. That, of course, presumes Bellinger is ready to go and healed in 10 days. Bellinger leads the Yankees in Wins Above Replacement (WAR) so far this season.
