Criticism mounts for ‘ball hog’ Caitlin Clark after Angel Reese dominates her on the court

Unfortunately for Caitlin Clark and company, Clark’s biggest rival dating back to her collegiate career, Dream forward Angel Reese, not only turned in a flawless performance but also left Gainbridge Fieldhouse victorious.

>Reese finished the game with a team-high 21 points, which included clutch buckets down the stretch to seal the game for Atlanta. Clark didn’t play poorly necessarily, finishing with 26 points and seven assists herself, but the box score doesn’t tell the entire story.

>The Fever fell behind by double digits with Clark on the floor and only clawed back into the game when she was forced to the bench with foul trouble. Late in the game, when Clark returned with five fouls, Reese and the Dream were able to pull away again. Clark ended the night with a game-worst -13 +/-.

>After the game, the Amazon Prime studio analysts talked about the contributing factors to Indiana’s struggles, and Clark’s heliocentric playstyle was mentioned.
