Dana White confirms Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua a 'done deal'

If all goes to plan and no more hurdles get in the way, Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua is a done deal.

>Dana White recently confirmed that one of Britain’s biggest ever fights will go ahead. The heavyweight titans have been entangled in an escalating feud for over a decade, and it’s reached boiling point. But the time for talk is over. According to UFC CEO White, amid the uncertainty, Fury vs. Joshua is happening.

>“There’s no confusion whatsoever,” White said. “I mean, if you look at everything that’s been- from the network, to the guy who’s actually f***ing paying for it, and to me saying what I’ve said. I mean, I’ve been saying it now; feels like for f***ing years, but it’s probably been weeks. But I’ve been saying the same thing. It’s a fact.”

>“No, it’s happening. It’s done. It’s done. It’s a done deal. Everything that I’ve been saying is the truth. Why would I say it and double down, and triple down, and f***ing quadruple down if it wasn’t the case?”

>Just days ago, it looked like the fight was in jeopardy. Anthony Joshua’s side wasn’t happy with plans from the other side. Exposing the truth, Dana White blamed Joshua and Eddie Hearn for the public difficulties that were reported, saying:

>“This isn’t a hesitation; this is an ego thing. A total ego thing. It has nothing to do with any of this sh*t. Listen. Boxing has taken a hit in the United States. It’s not as big as it was here 20 years ago. It has become a very British sport. And all the sh*t that you’re hearing—the crying and the b*tching and the f***ing whatever—is all coming from the UK.”
