>Mia Williams, the 20-year-old Texas Tech second baseman, put on a show in the Red Raiders' elimination game against Alabama on Monday, June 1, as her dad — who won an NBA championship with the Miami Heat in 2006 — was there to cheer her on.

>Mia hit a home run in the seventh inning to secure the 2-0 win for the Red Raiders on a pitch from Alabama's Vic Moten. In a video shared on Instagram, Williams can be seen celebrating his daughter's huge play. The proud dad immediately ran up to the fence as he cheered and the team celebrated their win.

"I was trying to hold my glasses and cheer at the same time. It was amazing," she said, according to USA Today.

>For Williams, watching his daughter pursue her sports dreams makes him more nervous than his own career ever did.

>"I was way more nervous when she comes up to bat, especially here in the World Series," the former guard, known by the "White Chocolate" nickname in his playing days, said on the Hoopin' & Hollerin' podcast on Wednesday, June 3. "This makes me more nervous than playing in the '06 Finals."
