Deion Sanders visits Browns camp, amid Shedeur Sanders position battle

Deion Sanders is getting ready to start his fourth season as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. Before fall camp begins on Monday (Aug. 2), he traveled to Berea, Ohio, to visit his son, Shedeur Sanders.

>Sanders is competing with Deshaun Watson for the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback job. On Tuesday, the day Coach Prime visited, he was scheduled to receive first-team reps after Watson received those reps earlier in the week.

>By all indications, Shedeur had a solid day at practice, ripping multiple throws down the field to various receivers, including rookie Denzel Boston and second-year players Harold Fannin Jr. and Isaiah Bond.

>"It was really cool," Monken said. "Deion Sanders, you kidding me? Forget that it's Shedeur's dad. I mean, first of all, he did an unbelievable job with Shedeur, great kid. And obviously an elite football player, hell, baseball player. And then as a coach, I mean, wow. Everything that he's achieved. It was awesome [having hime at practice]."

>Coach Prime picked a good day to come out to practice, and his con rewarded him with a solid performance. As training camp continues, whichever quarterback between Watson and Sanders receives the majority of first-team reps, Monken has said that guy likely has the upper hand.
