>Celtics star guard Derrick White is still in the middle of his playing career, but he is going to be taking on a side job at his former college.
>The Colorado men's basketball team announced on Tuesday that White will be the school's President of Basketball Strategy.

>A lot of colleges are bringing back former players into front-office roles to help with NIL. White isn't the only Celtics player helping his former school.
>Duke hired Jayson Tatum as its Chief Basketball Officer before the start of the 2025-26 season. Last season, Tatum took on two roles: he played while also contributing to Duke's program. However, since he was recovering from a torn Achilles tendon for most of the season, he had more time available to help out.
