The Diamondbacks have signed 20 of their 21 picks, including all 11 players they took in the first 10 rounds of the baseball draft held earlier this month.

>Top selection Ryder Helfrick, a catcher out of Arkansas, received a signing bonus of $5.24 million, the full slot value for his pick at No. 15 overall.

>Georgia Tech infielder Carson Kerce, the club’s second-round pick, got $1.9 million, a tick above slot ($1.85 million) for No. 53 overall.

>Right-hander Mason Steele, the club’s 10th-round selection out of Alabama-Birmingham, also signed for full slot.

>Beyond that, the Diamondbacks saved money on the rest of their selections in the top 10 rounds.

>That allowed them to redirect some of the savings toward 11th-round pick Cody Boshell, a left-handed-hitting first baseman out of a Florida high school with significant power projection. Boshell signed for $750,000.

>The only unsigned player is 17th-round pick Rylan Alaniz, a prep shortstop from Texas, whom the Diamondbacks are still hoping to sign away from a Texas State commitment.
