The Los Angeles Dodgers destroyed the San Diego Padres 15-3 on Saturday in a game where the offense really woke up and delivered a big game.

class="wp-block-paragraph">The Dodgers totaled 17 hits, but their approach gave them another five base runners, for a total of 22 on the night.

class="wp-block-paragraph">They got help from all different parts — six players had a multi-hit game, while Mookie Betts, Kyle Tucker, and Dalton Rushing all hit home runs.

class="wp-block-paragraph">San Diego, meanwhile, was shut down to two runs in six innings, with Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivering a quality start.

Without a doubt, Freddie Freeman and Kyle Tucker were the best players today. They punished a right-handed starter after he came into the game following the opener’s departure.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Tucker’s performance was especially notable since he was slumping, but he put together a good game that hopefully can lead to more from him.

class="wp-block-paragraph">Freeman has been steady all year long and continued his trend of punishing righties and any mistakes made by a pitcher.
