Much has been made about the Atlanta Falcons' quarterback decisions in recent years, and that's unlikely to change this season with an open competition taking place between Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. Regardless of which QB is named the starter, they will benefit greatly from a top-notch supporting cast.
>With weapons like wide receiver Drake London, tight end Kyle Pitts and running back Drake London, the quarterback just needs to steer the ship and let the Falcons' playmakers go to work. The team just signed London and Pitts to massive extensions, keeping the duo in Atlanta for the foreseeable future.
>At just 24 years old, London's best football may still be ahead of him. The Falcons have had a different Week 1 starting quarterback in each of his first four NFL seasons, yet London continues to produce regardless of the circumstances.
>Pro Football Focus analysts Dalton Wasserman and Max Chadwick released their 2026 wide receiver rankings and London came in at No. 10.
>"London is showing why the Falcons selected him with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft," wrote PFF. "His 91.4 PFF receiving grade over the past two seasons ranks fifth in the NFL, as do his 16 receiving touchdowns during that span. At 6-foot-4, London is a matchup nightmare, ranking third in the NFL with 35 contested catches over the past two seasons."
>If the Falcons can figure out their quarterback situation this season, London has a chance to really make a name for himself around the league in 2026. The former USC standout will average the third-most money per season among wide receivers on his new contract.
>Based on what we've seen from London thus far, his contract will be worth every penny if he can stay healthy.
