A host of former Denver Broncos players have appeared on the NFL's transaction wire in recent days.
>Notably, wide receiver KJ Hamler, a second-round pick out of Penn State in 2020, worked out for the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. The 27-year-old veteran spent this spring playing for the UFL's Orlando Storm, totaling 563 all-purpose yards and scoring four touchdowns in seven games.
>Hamler battled various injuries during his time in Denver, missing 27 of the team's 50 games from 2020-2022. He was released with a non-football illness designation in 2023 after he was diagnosed with pericarditis, a heart irritation. Hamler has since treated the heart irritation and spent time with two NFL teams before his stop in the UFL.
>Elsewhere on the ex-Bronco front, safety Quinton Newsome worked out for the Arizona Cardinals; tight end Thomas Yassmin had a tryout with the Green Bay Packers; tight end Caden Prieskorn signed with the Carolina Panthers; tight end Nick Vannett joined the Seattle Seahawks; the Atlanta Falcons cut offensive lineman Elijah Garcia; and the New England Patriots cut offensive lineman Sebastian Gutierrez.
