>Rob Gronkowski’s game days might look a little different these days but the former NFL tight end knows how to make sure a party is planned to perfection.

>In an exclusive conversation with ClutchPoints, Gronkowski shared that Bounty is his perfect game day wingman, but a few others also came to mind, as well as some characteristics he believes a football party planner should possess.

>“It’s very clutch, and this is my fifth year with the campaign,” he shared. “This year, Bounty paper towels are my official wingman on game day. You got to have paper towels to clean up the mess of what everything comes with on game day, especially football game day.”

>You can’t have the perfect game day party without having food. For Gronk, the decision on making the best menu was easy.

>“You got to have dips and then also chicken wings. But you got to have a variety of chicken wings, a variation,” he explained.

>Gronk began listing the must-haves at his game days which include Buffalo chicken wings in mild, medium, and hot variations for guests. In addition to those he included garlic and barbecue as other possible selections.

>He was also very adamant on representing his Buffalo roots when it comes to dipping choices for the wings.

>“You got to have blue cheese, quality blue cheese from Buffalo, New York,” he adds. “I’m from Buffalo and blue cheese dominates. You can’t have ranch. Blue cheese, baby.”

>For those who might be skeptical of adding blue cheese to your game day menu, Gronk ensures that “once you have the good blue cheese, you’ll never go back to ranch.”

>If planning a game day is not in your level of expertise, Gronk has you covered and name-dropped a couple of NFL pros to get you started. While this year Gronk is riding solo for the campaign, he shared that three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman, FOX sportscaster Charissa Thompson, and NFL Hall of Famer and former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees previously held those positions and why they were the perfect game day teammates.

>Edelman, who was actually Gronk’s teammate on the New England Patriots for nine seasons, shared that “they just understood each other,” which made a fun game day experience.

>“Brees brought me to the city of New Orleans and just showed me around and told me the best restaurants, and Charissa, she’s a foodie as well and just knows everything inside and out at whatever city it is because she travels so much,” he added of Brees and Thompson as game day partners.

>Ultimately, Edelman, Thompson, and Brees brought different skill sets that made the game day experience worthwhile. Gronk shared that picking a game day partner is someone who should have “knowledge of food and also knowledge of direction of cities and where to go with restaurants.”
