Fans sought over disorder at derby match

Police said they were taking action against those who they believe have used derby matches as an excuse for disorder [Hampshire Constabulary]Police have released images of 11 people suspected being involved in disorder at a derby match between Portsmouth and Southampton.
>Trouble broke out after the EFL Championship game at Fratton Park on 25 January.
>At full-time some fans ripped out seats from the stands and threw them, along with coins and bottles.
>Footage was captured on CCTV and Hampshire Constabulary is asking for help to identify the individuals – from both sets of fans.
>Police said a number of people had already been interviewed in relation to the incidents.
>Ch Supt Simon Dodds, who was gold commander for the match, said: "We understand the passion football fans have for their clubs, and the extra excitement that builds around these derby matches.
>"The vast majority of fans at both matches this season were able to show their support in the right way and we're really thankful for that," he said.
>He said those involved had "used these events as an excuse to behave in a manner that puts others at risk of serious injury".
