Washington defeated Atlanta, 91-83, in the NBA Summer League on July 18 at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, Nevada.

>Former Tennessee basketball player Felix Okpara started and played 27 points for the Wizards. He totaled 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block. Okpara converted 6-of-13 field goal attempts.

>John Camden led the Wizards in scoring with 22 points, while Chris Livingston finished with 20 points.

>Devon Higgs led the Hawks in scoring with 22 points and Kobe Johnson finished with 13 points.

>Okpara was selected by Orlando in the second round (No. 46 overall) of the NBA draft on June 24. He was traded to Washington after being drafted by the Magic.

>The 6-foot-11, 243-pound forward played at Tennessee from 2024-26, appearing in 73 games (72 starts). He started all 38 games for the Vols during the 2024-25 season, setting a single-season record.

>Okpara was one of four Tennessee players in program history to record two 50-block seasons, joining Grant Williams, Kyle Alexander and C.J. Black.
