Film study: New Bears C Logan Jones an athletic, nasty lineman

With the No. 57 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears selected Iowa center Logan Jones.

class="has-text-align-none">After the sudden retirement of Drew Dalman this offseason, the Bears had a last-second opening at center right before free agency. They traded for Garrett Bradbury, but given he’s on the last year on his current deal, the expectation was that he would be a one-year rental to keep the offensive line afloat.

class="has-text-align-none">Jones factors into the mix as an experienced offensive lineman who’s battle-tested at the Big Ten level. He’s a true center who should be able to push Bradbury for a starting spot, and given the fact that the Bears selected him in the second round, the organization likely thinks so, as well.

class="has-text-align-none">As I’ve done since 2019, I put together a thread involving my analysis of each Bears draft selection, sharing some clips that highlight their strengths along the way. This year is certainly no different, so here’s my quick-hit evaluation of the Bears selecting Jones in Round 2.
