Gary Harris is headed back to Michigan. On Tuesday night, the former Michigan State basketball star, who spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks, was traded to the Detroit Pistons along with Taurean Prince for two second-round picks and former Michigan Wolverine Caris LeVert.
>Harris' NBA journey started in 2014 when he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls (but traded to the Denver Nuggets) with the No. 19 pick. The former First-team All-Big Ten shooting guard has had a long and lucrative NBA career as a sniper, playing solid wing defense at least earlier in his career. He will now join a Pistons team that was one game away from the conference finals, although it's unclear if he will ever suit up for Detroit or if he will be moved elsewhere.
>With the move, the Pistons add another capable shooter and move off of Caris LeVert's deal, which could open up room for them to make another acquisition this summer.
