The backflips are in the rear-view mirror, and the same can be said of any concern regarding New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo's injury outlook ahead of 2026 training camp. After suffering a dislocated ankle and fractured tibia in Week 8 of his rookie season, the outlook appeared positive after the running back attempted a backflip at Fanatics Fest. That much was confirmed on Wednesday, when the New York Giants got training camp underway.
>Giants general manager Joe Schoen spoke to the media about Skattebo's status, revealing that he's "good to go" for the start of camp.
>"He's good to go," Schoen said. "I'm sure you guys saw the video. Yeah, he's been busting his tail; that video shows a little bit of how his rehab's been that he's able to not land it and still be ok. He'll be out here, he'll be ready to go today."
>Cam Skattebo is “good to go”, per Joe Schoen.
