>Reitz’s Carter Zieren has been among the best long-distance runners from the Evansville area and showed how that translates to state competition over the weekend. With another season remaining of his high school career, expect to see more of Zieren on the leaderboards going forward.
>Zieren contributed to Reitz finishing 11th in team scoring, the highest mark of the Evansville schools participating in the event. Will Dierlam's performance was also notable, he finished fifth in the 3,200-meter for the Panthers.
