Indiana Fever veteran guard, Fishers native injured in finale vs Lynx. What we know

MINNEAPOLIS — Indiana Fever backup point guard Tyasha Harris exited Thursday’s game vs. the Minnesota Lynx with a left ankle injury and did not return.

>Harris was driving to the basket with 3:30 left in the third quarter. She took one dribble, then planted on her left foot in the lane and went up for the right-handed layup. Nia Brodie slid over to defend Harris as she neared the basket. The two collided in the lane and Harris landed awkwardly on her left ankle. She fell to the ground immediately and began reaching at her ankle in pain.

>Monique Billings, Myisha Hines-Allen, Raven Johnson and Sophie Cunningham immediately surrounded their injured Fever teammate, with Cunningham waving team trainers onto the floor.

>Trainers tended to Harris for a few minutes on the court, then helped carry her off the floor.

>The injury to Harris, a native of Fishers who played at Heritage Christian, was the second of the night for the Fever.

>Center Aliyah Boston suffered a right lower leg injury late in the second quarter and did not return.

>Harris suffered a season-ending patellar injury five games into last season. She underwent surgery in June 2025 and was not cleared until March 2026
