>Despite that interest, none of the Spanish clubs have advanced discussions to the same level as Inter. No formal negotiations with Tottenham or talks over personal terms are believed to have matched the progress already made by the Italian champions, while there is no guarantee any of the La Liga sides would better Inter’s financial package.
