Ipswich Town join Hull City in race to sign Toulouse’s Emersonn

The Premier League’s newly promoted sides are showing a strong interest in Toulouse FC striker Emersonn (21), as per a report from Sky Sports.

>It was reported by the outlet on Monday that Toulouse had rejected a bid of a little over £17m for the Brazilian forward.

>Having joined Le TéFéCé last summer, Emersonn has enjoyed a remarkable first season in the French league. Starting in 22 of his 31 appearances across all competitions, the Brazilian made ten goal contributions, scoring seven goals – notably against Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais and AS Monaco – and providing three assists.

>Hull City, having seen their opening offer rejected, remain in the race but they are not alone in showing interest in the Toulouse forward.
