>The Two Jays era of the Boston Celtics has now ended with Jaylen Brown's move to the Philadelphia 76ers. It is a bittersweet ending because Brown and Jayson Tatum were always one of the best duos in the league.

>This resulted in two trips to the NBA Finals in 2022 and 2024. They won it in the latter appearance, and Brown won the Finals MVP award. Despite attempts to drive a wedge between the duo, they always supported each other until the very end.

Jayson Tatum publicly addresses the Jaylen Brown trade for the first timeFor the longest time, some people tried to speak about how there is a feud between the two Jays. That was not the case because they kept proving the doubters wrong. Now, they can look back on their near-decade-long partnership and see a successful one.

>Unfortunately, it was a sad end to one of the league's best partnerships. Now, they will be regularly playing against each other because the 76ers and the Celtics are both in the Atlantic Division.

>After being silent for a week or so, Tatum penned an emotional farewell on his IG story. Some people were once again unconvinced, so in his first public appearance since the trade, Tatum was quite candid.

>"The NBA is an incredible business; it’s an incredible job, but there are some downsides to the business and moments like this, where you just kind of feel like you’re going to be on the team with somebody, because that’s all you know," Tatum said at an event for his children's book.

>"It’s just like, one day you find out that they’re no longer on your team anymore. Going into the facility, and knowing that you have different teammates, and somebody that you’ve been to war with, essentially, is on a different team."

>It is an emotional ending for Tatum and Brown's time together as a partnership. Now, they will be rivals, but that love for each other will always remain. It will be an exciting matchup, as they will surely be matched up against each other all the time.
