Jimmie Johnson had an outstanding weekend in San Diego. Johnson ran the NASCAR Cup and Truck Series races in San Diego, and he was actually competitive. In the Truck Series event, the seven-time Cup Series champion led laps on pure speed before issues derailed his day. Meanwhile, the Cup Series was less competitive.

>Following the weekend, Johnson jumped on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and addressed his racing future. Will Johnson return for another Truck Series race during the 2026 season? Don't count on it.
