Kairi Sane, Wyatt Sicks, Aleister Black among flood of WWE roster cuts after WrestleMania 42

More than 15 WWE wrestlers have been released from the company in the wake of this year’s WrestleMania season. Among that group are several high-profile names and former champions, such as Kairi Sane, the entire Wyatt Sicks, the real-life couple of Aleister Black and Zelina Vega, and both members of the Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin.

>WWE’s post-WrestleMania roster purges have become somewhat of an annual occurrence for the company, as the TKO-owned promotion seeks to reset its deck following its yearlong sprint to its annual two-night WrestleMania showcase.
>WrestleMania 42 took place earlier this month, April 19 and April 20, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. WrestleMania 43 is expected to be held next year in Saudi Arabia, marking the first time WWE has ever taken its marquee event outside of North America.
