Kansas State football adds speedy WR from Louisiana to 2027 class

MANHATTAN — Kansas State football has landed a speedy three-star wide receiver out of Louisiana

>Ashton Stark, listed at 5-foot-9 1/2 and 158 pounds, announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Wednesday, June 17, via social media.

>Stark, of Lutcher, Louisiana, picked the Wildcats over offers from Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, Auburn, Cincinnati and others. He's coming off a junior season in which he made 56 catches for 806 yards, while also rushing for 242 yards with 15 total touchdowns.

>Stark also doubles as a track athlete, who ran a 10.92-second 100-meter dash in April. He visited the Manhattan campus this weekend and was offered by the Wildcats in mid-April.

>Stark's father played receiver at Louisiana Tech from 1999-01.
