>Title leader Kimi Antonelli took the final spot on the podium and continues to lead the world championship by 50 points.

>Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was fourth, with his teammate Lewis Hamilton in fifth. Hamilton was in the battle for third place, but received a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane, which placed him behind his teammate as a result.

>He said afterwards: "I'm not really sure why we stopped at the end.

>"I got the call right at the pit-lane entry and I didn't have time to debate it. You put your faith in the team.

>"I would never have stopped if it meant I'd give up track position. We should have stayed out. I need to go and see why the team pulled me in."

>Isack Hadjar finished the race in sixth in the Red Bull, with Mercedes' George Russell behind.

>Russell suffered with an anti-stall issue at the start of the race on the line, but managed to work himself up the order.

>"I was on the throttle holding the revs, and then all of a sudden, about four seconds before the lights went out, the engine just started revving all over the place," Russell said.

>"I was reacting with my throttle, and it was doing nothing. So, the engine wasn't reacting to the throttle."
