>The team announced Monday, June 29 that they released the 23-year-old cornerback after his arrest Wednesday in connection with a February robbery and kidnapping in Florida. The NFL star faces four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery.
>Arnold turned himself in and was taken into custody on Wednesday, the Tampa Police Department confirmed in a news release. On Monday, shortly before the Lions announced they would release him, a judge set Arnold's bail at $1 million, and require him to stay home except for work and court appearances.
>Arnold's attorney R. Timothy Jansen denied any wrongdoing on behalf of his client last week.

There is no evidence in police reports, text messages, or witness statements that implicates Mr. Arnold in any way.”
>He added, "In fact, after direct communication with the lead prosecutor, it has been confirmed that no charges have been filed against Mr. Arnold in connection with this matter."
>“We are aware of the legal situation regarding Terrion Arnold," a spokesperson for the Detroit Lions told PEOPLE at the time of his arrest. "We will not comment at this time out of respect for the ongoing legal process.”
