MLB catcher power rankings entering week 12

MLB has completed 11 weeks of the 2026 season. Certain players are having great seasons, but injuries are starting to affect some of the game’s best players. Heading into week twelve, here are the top ten catchers around the league.

1. He is on his way to an NL All-Star selection.

2. Shea Langeliers, AthleticsLangeliers is having another strong season. Entering the week, he leads American League catchers in home runs. He leads the Athletics in home runs and total bases.

3. Liam Hicks, Miami MarlinsHicks is having a tremendous year for Miami. He leads the Marlins in home runs. Entering the week, he is fifth in home runs among MLB catchers.

4. William Contreras, Milwaukee BrewersThe veteran has provided great offensive production. The Brewers are in first, and their catcher enters the week second in hits among MLB catchers. He hasn’t reached double-digit home runs but has driven in a healthy number of runs.

5. Hunter Goodman, Colorado RockiesGoodman’s slow start is behind him. Entering the week, he leads MLB catchers in home runs. He has been on a tear, sending pitches out of the ballpark over the past week.

6. 8. Samuel Basallo, Baltimore OriolesBasallo is having a strong rookie season. He has often displayed his power and will be one of Baltimore’s best hitters soon. Entering the week, he is tied for sixth in home runs among MLB catchers.

9. Ryan Jeffers, Minnesota TwinsJeffers is battling his way back from hand surgery. He’s a month away from returning to the field but produced strong numbers prior to injury. Entering the week, he leads MLB catchers in OPS.

10. Keibert Ruiz, Washington NationalsRuiz is having a quiet but productive season. His numbers are overshadowed by Nationals teammates. Entering the week, Keibert Ruiz is tied for seventh in hits among National League catchers.
