Two Nebraska pitchers will have a chance to impress professional scouts at an exclusive event later this month. Carson Jasa and Ty Horn will participate in the 2026 MLB Draft Combine in Arizona.
>There will be 334 draft-eligible players participating in the exclusive showcase at Chase Field in Phoenix. The event splits the attendees with 194 collegiate players and 140 high school athletes.
>Jasa is Nebraska's highest ranked prospect heading into the draft. He ranks No. 171 according to MLB.com. The right-handed pitcher went 10-2 with a 3.59 ERA and 117 strikeouts across 87.2 innings while holding opponents to a .210 batting average.
>The Thornton, Colorado native was named a third-team All-American by ABCA/Rawlings and first-team All-Big Ten. Jasa is the sixth All-American under head coach Will Bolt.
>Ty Horn appeared in 22 games this past season with 12 starts. He went 3-3 with a 4.03 ERA and one save. He finished second on the team with 87 strikeouts in 82.2 innings.
>Live coverage of the three-day event will exclusively run on MLB Network from June 23-25. The 2026 Major League Baseball draft will take place July 11-12, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
