One thing that's beyond debate is that the Atlanta Falcons have a lot of talent at the offensive skill positions. The trio of running back Bijan Robinson, wide receiver Drake London and tight end Kyle Pitts is one of, if not the best RB-WR-TE combo in the NFL right now. They also have an already-good offensive line that might become great under Bill Callahan and a couple of question marks at quarterback.

>Defensively, Atlanta has a loaded secondary that should get even better after the addition of Avieon Terrell and Divine Deablo gives them at least one very underrated and reliable defender at the second level. They're also lethal off the edge, but could use some more firepower inside.

>Which element will be the most-important for the Falcons this coming season? According to Cameron Wolfe at NFL Network, it will be tight end Kyle Pitts who could define their season and elevate their offense.

More on Pitts who at this time sounds likely to remain a Falcon & play on franchise tag but could be in position to elevate ATL offense + reset TE market in 2027 with another strong season: pic.twitter.com/2mIt55q3JZ

— Cameron Wolfe (@CameronWolfe) June 8, 2026This comes as a bit of a surprise, and if we had to pick it would be either Tua Tagovailoa or Bijan Robinson, who we expect to lead the league in rushing yards and yards from scrimmage.

>That said, we can't rule out Pitts, who took a big step forward last season after some underwhelming production to begin his career. If he can level up again, Pitts could become the difference-maker for an Atlanta offense that's on the cusp.
