class="wp-block-paragraph">Apparently, this rumor went viral because of a post by @NotJ0NRoth, a parody of CBS reporter Jon Rothstein (he fooled us once, too).

class="wp-block-paragraph">The truth is that ESPN faces both higher costs and more competition, and there are going to be times when it has to react to a more competitive market.

class="wp-block-paragraph">So far, though, it hasn’t affected Bilas, which is great news for college basketball fans primarily, though he has also done some NBA work lately as well.
