CLEVELAND — Inclement weather prevented the new Cleveland Guardians minority owner from making his debut with a ceremonial first pitch before a game against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, June 14.
>Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Cleveland Heights native Travis Kelce bought a stake in the Guardians on May 27, and to celebrate he had planned to be back in his hometown for Sunday's game.

>But the Guardians announced 40 minutes before the game's scheduled start it had been postponed until 2:10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, as part of a doubleheader.
