The OKC Thunder is trading Isaiah Joe to the Detroit Pistons.
>OKC will receive two future second-round picks in exchange for Joe. ESPN’s Shams Charania first reported the news.
>After beginning his career with Philadelphia, Joe established himself as an NBA player while with OKC. He shot at least 40% from deep in all four seasons with the Thunder.
>Joe also averaged a career-high 11.1 points to go along with 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists this past regular season. But his role declined during the postseason, where OKC reached the Western Conference finals.
>This is the second cost-saving move of the summer by OKC. It also traded Aaron Wiggins to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday in exchange for two future second-round picks.
>With the deal, OKC has also freed up two roster spots for rookies Aday Mara and Bennett Stirtz. The Thunder selected them with the 12th pick and the 16th pick, respectively, in the 2026 NBA Draft.
