Patriots claim WR Kobe Prentice off waivers

The Patriots added a wide receiver to their roster on Saturday.

>They announced that they have claimed wide receiver Kobe Prentice off of waivers. Prentice was dropped by the Panthers on Friday.

>Prentice signed with the Panthers after going undrafted out of Baylor in April. He had 26 receptions for 380 yards and six touchdowns in his final college season.

>The Patriots waived offensive lineman Sebastian Gutierrez in a corresponding move. Gutierrez entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Broncos in 2022 and has had stints with a number of teams, including a couple of tours on the New England practice squad. He has appeared in two regular season games.
