The only thing better than a hole-in-one? Two of them. The only thing better than two holes-in-one? Making both in the same round. That might sound impossible, and you would be right enough. The likelihood of such an occurrence is roughly 1 in 20 million, but this weekend, Ryan Winchester became that one.

>On Sunday at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Pa., Winchester began his unforgettanle day by acing the par-3 3rd hole. A short while later, he repeated the feat on the par-3 16th hole.

>"The first one we saw it all drop, obviously, there was some excitement about it, the second one we kind of all lost our minds," he told Fox 29 News. "Being able to watch both of them drop in was really incredible, the second one we were all really in shock … To even have one hole-in-one let alone two in the same day, it’s something I will never forget.”

>Not that he’ll be able to. Rolling Green plans to award Winchester with a plaque for his accomplishment, as well as the flags from the holes he aced. As a dues-paying member at Rolling Green, Winchester was also eligible for the club’s hole-in-one insurance, with one rarely seen upgrade.

>"If you get a hole-in-one here at Rolling Green, and you're a member, we give you $300 in the pro shop and $700 at the bar,” said Fred Heller, Rolling Green’s head club pro. “So he got double that, $600 in the golf shop and $1400 in the bar."

>Plenty of clubs would only pay out for one hole-in-one, so kudos to Rolling Green taking care of their own. Winchester wasn’t done there, however. To truly test his luck, he bought $50 worth of Mega Millions lottery tickets following his round using the numbers involved in his remarkable feat—holes, yardages, etc. Needless to say, if you catch wind of a lotto winner in southeastern Pennsylvania this week, we all know who cashed the lucky ticket.
